We take great pride in our programming at Squamish Barbell, and for more than 15 years, we’ve seen our athletes achieve incredible things here. We believe results come from prioritizing quality of movement and coaching, consistency in training—and intensity. Our programming is inclusive, results-driven and easily adaptable for individual athletes.
PROGRAMMING BUILT FOR
beginners to world champions.
Since day one, all programming has been done by Jesse Bifano (owner and head coach). Jesse is the strength coach for many professional athletes including Justin Mederios (2x Fittest Man on Earth), UFC fighter, Jamey Horth, and 2nd Fittest Teen on Earth, Trista Smith. All programming for CrossFit, lifting, and individual athletes is done week to week. Adjustments can be made based on the data collected from the current week's results, athlete and practitioner feedback, and a host of other factors.
A METHOD THAT WORKS.
We pull from both CrossFit and Conjugate methodologies. Our programming includes a lot of variety, which keeps things challenging, interesting, and fun day-to-day. We spend time on a full spectrum of barbell movements but also use a large selection of specialty bars for variations of these lifts. We couple this lifting with body weight movements, machines, and accessory work to build well-rounded fitness. With community members between four and seventy years old, from complete beginners to professional athletes, our programming is designed to help you get the most out of your time at the gym, regardless of age, experience, or goals.
